Sometimes my kids and husband throw them away but rarely. I love these paper towels. They are tough and tough when dry but VERY EASY to rinse off. I've heard complaints about other types of towels that don't fall off like normal fabrics with care. Love using mine on my Swiffer, IT WORKS FANTASTIC as a pad for quicker size adjustments and you get MUCH more use out of it. I use them as "napkins" for dinner because we're used to using paper towels, a bit of moisture, and they're a perfect consistency, like a hand dryer and whatnot. I tried washing them once, they shredded in the lint filter, but I had no problem with them peeling off when I hand washed them. I didn't try to boil them or microwave them like I believe the sanitizer packaging says. You have to retrain to use them because throwing them away becomes a reflex. Overall a great product, just bought my second pack.
