I was able to drain this battery in one day of installing mounts onto a roof, approximately 600 3/8" x 1.5" self tapping screws through metal and wood. While driving a screw under full power, the battery briefly dipped in power and showed 0%, then recovered back to 30% battery life remaining. I didn't use it further as I had a 6ah battery ready for the last few dozen screws. Its wise to charge these Li-Ion battery packs at 20% remaining or more for longer life, and to avoid overcharging and sub-freezing temps.This battery is noticeably lighter than the 6ah version and for long periods of work with an impact driver it's about as heavy as I'd want to use--a heavier battery upsets the balance and is just harder to hold. On other tools the weight of a larger battery might not be a problem, but I prefer this lighter battery to the 6ah for use on my impact gun.
