Review on πŸ”Œ Ford DS7Z-9E926-D ECU Computer Module by Peter Green

THIS MODEL IS MUCH IMPROVED FROM OEM

I installed one of these in my sister in law's car. Reading about problems that others have had with a factory installed OEM Ford model, it has been noted that the stepper motor is prone to failure on early models. There was an issue with the electrical contact pin not making good contact with the case and the motor inside didn't work very well due to corrosion inside the unit. You tried to fix the problem with a software update, but it didn't work. This is a new and improved model. If you buy them, you'll want to make sure you get the ones (like this one) with the model number of the updated version. There are still some older versions for sale that just repeat the original problem. In my sister-in-law's car, the stepper motor would not fully close the throttle at idle and the excess air would cause the motor to shake, rumble and roll. These little stepper motors are said to be powerful enough to rip off one of your fingers if you pinch your finger while running. Conditions.
