I bought this for a 2007 Accord coupe, and like another review here stated the gold loop piece on the back side doesn't go to this application. I think it is for cars with a key cylinder on the trunk lid. Just remove the loop and bolt it in it works great.You don't even need to cut the loop off, grab it with pliers and work it back and forth until it snaps off.Haven't been able to open this trunk for 2 years and decided enough is enough, this piece was perfect.Crawl through your seats, pry off the rubbery cover of the old unit and jam a flathead in the mechanism and work it until the trunk pops and it's pretty self explanatory from there.The one I ordered did come with replacement 10mm bolts.
