Review on ChefWave 10 Tray Stainless Steel Food Dehydrator - Digital Temperature Control, Timer, 3 Teflon Sheets, 2 Mesh Sheets, Drip Tray - Dried Fruit, Jerky, Herbs – Recipe Book Included by Milagros Iser

However, a decent person has a food desiccant.

If I could rate this product alphabetically I would give it a 4. Suitable as a dehydrator. Note, however, that as a consumer product, this is another run-of-the-mill semi-finished product from China. A review that mentions that it cannot be turned off by pressing the "Off" button is true. "0000" is shown brightly on the display. To really turn it off, you need to turn off the power by unplugging or turning off the power strip it's plugged into (my solution to this incomplete design). Seriously, won't a manufacturer bankrupt a simple rocker switch? or a pressure switch connected to a relay? A lack of finishing touches like this ruins a good user experience. With that in mind, the misleading "on/off" button should also be renamed to "start/stop". This may have been intentional from the start, but they misunderstood the translation; fix it! A few takeaways/tips after first use: - Stainless steel doesn't mean non-stick. You can brush stainless steel strainers with a little oil to keep your food from sticking. Line the drip tray with foil or wax paper, although the manufacturer claims it's easy to clean. This will make the task even easier and faster.
