Review on 🔧 FEL-PRO VS 50028 R Valve Cover Gasket Set: Reliable Seal for Superior Performance by John Maynard

This is another typical high quality Fel-Pro product. It's silicone rubber (or something similar) and has locking inserts in all the screw holes. I hand tightened it and felt what I thought was "right", which just isn't right for tightening the valve cover. I haven't had any leaks, the engine has 260,000 miles and the valve cover is leaking. I think the silicone rubber construction and torque limiters are why I got lucky with this one. I'm wondering if purple Loctite would be a great addition to replacing the valve cover gasket.
