I bought these based on the description that they drill metal concrete - but they don't drill shaft. I spent five minutes drilling the first hole and made the hole about 1/2 deep. The racquet was damaged - scratched, tarnished and looked like it was coming loose at the tip. It looks like they are regular drill bits that can be used in woodworking. I used a real masonry bit (which was too short, but that's all I had) and I was able to drill a 2.5" deep hole in about 1 minute. No damage to the bit.
