Not for concrete work. I usually buy Bosch bits at the hardware store. I've had good luck with them for installing Tapcon screws. I bought them because of the 5 pack and the price. It's garbage! The tips are literally blown off through 1-2 holes. They may be suitable for concrete bricks or mortar, but definitely not for concrete. Also not true to size.
I bought these to drill about 70 holes in poured concrete basement walls. Each of them ranged from 2 to 5 holes compared to the drill bits supplied by Tapcon. I used a Milwaukee Magnum 1/2 inch hammer. The performance was pathetic. They're practically useless. I would not recommend them at all. Very disappointed. For reference, the Tapcon bit is at hole #60 or so and is still tighter.
I bought these based on the description that they drill metal concrete - but they don't drill shaft. I spent five minutes drilling the first hole and made the hole about 1/2 deep. The racquet was damaged - scratched, tarnished and looked like it was coming loose at the tip. It looks like they are regular drill bits that can be used in woodworking. I used a real masonry bit (which was too short, but that's all I had) and I was able to drill a 2.5" deep hole in about 1 minute. No damage to theβ¦
