Review on Continental Elite 49432 Accu Drive Tensioner by Andrew Agarwal

Belt tensioner Continental/2008 Honda Accord 2.4L

Note how the belt runs around the pulleys. Here is a chart for your reference. You will have trouble accessing the screws that hold the belt tensioner in place. Slide the power steering revision block aside. It snaps into place and can be pushed up. This will give you access to the screw in the center of the belt tensioner. The second screw is hidden and is located on the right side of the belt tensioner. For easy access you will need to remove the power steering pump assembly from where it is bolted. There are two bolts on either side that hold the power steering unit in place. After carefully sliding the pump to the side, you will have access to the second screw. After installation I was very satisfied with the operation and performance. I also installed a Continental V-ribbed belt and both combinations worked perfectly. After installation, my air conditioning pump made the engine rattle. After installation, the air conditioning pump stopped making noise.
