Bought these about 5 years ago. The recoil spring broke after 3 years but they are fully covered by the Crescent warranty. So now I have a second pair with a 1.5 year guarantee and they are still going strong and trained by me. I recently bought a pair of these for a family member and they love them. Great Moments; very pleasant vinyl coating, pleasant to the touch, it seems that they remain sharp even after heavy cutting of the wire. The two best features of these diagonals are a well-functioning return spring (actually a spring extension feature), and by far the best feature is the complex action. Your contraction will be stronger, you have to work less. You can work with it quickly and accurately. I highly recommend these cutters.
