Review on SmartStandard 28In X 84In Sliding Barn Wood Door Pre-Drilled Ready To Assemble DIY Unfinished Solid Spruce Wood Panelled Slab Interior Single K-Frame (Fit 4FT-5FT Rail) by Sam Faucher

The gap it's hugh. Had to mod to get it to work.

If you are wanting a true finish door, then this is not the door for you. I strained mine. I got all the correct parts, but had to sand every part of all the pieces, and then stain. No problem. I read about the GAP issues, but my door had more gap than I'm comfortable. It was almost 1/4"gap before going into the left side of the door, which has 1/2 space to accommodate the panels. I don't think the wood will expand that much. So I had to take off 3/16 on the 3 cross braces to take up the GAP. There is still over 1/4" clearance for the wood to expand or shrink. So think of it as:You get a friend to make all the wood pieces of the door and hand them to you along with screws. You hand him $170ish. The rest is on you to complete. If you do a good job prepping, assembling, and finishing, the door will turn out nice. This was the spruce door. I finished with walnut gel stain, 3 coats of satin polyurethane. Handle and rollers/rail, I bought separate. One more thing, the screws that hold the decorative K boards on where yellow/gold looking. So I replaced them with black ones and pre-counter sunk the holes so the screws should sit flush.
