I judged the work of the remedy by candles. It was difficult to clean the deposit on the skirt of the candle without a tool even with a metal brush. After several minutes of the candle being in the well of the cylinder filled with foam, the carbon deposits from her skirt were simply wiped off with a rag. I hoped that it would reach the injectors (GDI), and clean the intake valves, but it felt like this did not happen. It definitely didn’t get worse, but the engine didn’t become new either. Probably needs to be done more often. The next step is to wash the nozzles with Lavr with a decarbonizing effect (the manufacturer recommends it for engines with direct injection), and at the next oil change I will try foam decarbonizing again 08/01/2022 Washed the injectors. It seemed to me that the engine began to work a little more evenly. Before washing, I unscrewed the candles - two of them had black soot, i. e. , most likely, the mixture was enriched (probably the nozzles poured in more fuel than required). After washing, after 150 km, candles without black soot. I will try to decarbonize and flush the injector a few more times with each oil change (about once every six months, 7 thousand km) and observe the result. If there is something interesting, I will add it here. PS: the photo shows an empty Lavra jar, which I just photographed, so the date in the photo is later than in the photographs of candles (for those who want to understand the chronology of events by dates)
