Review on πŸš— Adam's 15mm Swirl Killer Car Polisher - Dual Action Buffer Machine for Car Polish, Polishing Compound, Scratch Remover, Detailing, Car Wash Clay Bar, and Ceramic Coating by Brian Rogers

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Does it stall too easily or is mine broken?

I bought Adams Swirl Killer 15mm to have a little more correction than my 6" DA Griot (8mm travel I think). I saw a positive review on You Tube stating that it's less faltering than rupes and griot.15mm and read all the consistently positive revain reviews so i figured it was a safe bet.well i don't know if my block is defective or not but this DA seems too easy to stand on body lines and even flat screens.if not in ABSOLUTELY PERFECT position.Even in a good position on a flat platter when the disc spins freely the rotation stops if I apply even a little moderate pressure .With some slightly curved panels, like the hood, it seems I could only hold one hand on the handle and even felt like I had to raise the DA a bit to relieve the weight pressure of the unit.I have two A built utos and it was absolutely frustrating to use them. I don't have this problem with my Griot so I don't think it's bad engineering. Maybe the block I received was defective. I even went back to the griot to work with the larger plates and it was fine as I could apply more pressure. I used a Swirl Killer with a 5" Uro-Fiber 50/50 pad and finished with a black finish/polish foam pad and this DA stopped at both. I will return the unit, maybe Adam will find it defective and I can get one that doesn't break down that easily.
