Good knife, good life!

I recently received another knife from this seller, the 8 inch Damascus chef's knife and the service provided to enforce the overall cost of the product was outstanding . The seller is honest and generously organizes competitions for buyers of his company's products. In short, this price is wonderful. This Kiritsuke has a subtle but more traditionally faithful representation of Damascus. The texture is visible on a smooth surface, so don't expect the large grooves that some other knives can have. Not bad, just a traditional style with modern perks like a comfortable G10 handle and a strong VG10 steel blade tested to a Rockwell hardness of 62+. Stronger than nails, this grip is designed to withstand water, drops, heat and cold, although I haven't tested it that way...yet ^-^. It is very comfortable and has a slightly beveled pattern that provides friction even when wet, like frosted glass. The handle feels very solid and ends in a steel butt which gives the knife as a whole a wonderful balance. The knife itself is very sharp, it can cut a tomato so thinly that you can starve uninvited guests in the house with the sandwiches you have brought with you. This knife is also built to last, some more traditional designs have a connector between the blades called the point where the tang fits into the handle. This knife doesn't have that, but the handle appears to be one piece. As a result, the blade sits flush with the handle, there are no cracks or crevices to hide. There are no cavities in the tip, which increases the overall lifespan of the knife. All in all, this is a wonderful knife that will last a lifetime with proper care. I would recommend ceramic sharpening steel, and if you really want your blade to last longer, use a wooden or plastic cutting board instead of stone, glass, or steel. I recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive damascus knife for themselves or others. It comes in a gift box with a microfiber-lined plastic case and a small instruction manual. Thanks again and remember if you have a great knife you will have a great life!
