Review on Enhanced Motorcraft BT-50 Belt Tensioner for Improved Performance by Greg Baker
Genuine Ford Motorcraft part
Don't waste your money on cheap parts! You only end up spending more after it fails. The original tensioner lasted 18 years and 300,000 miles on my 2001 F250. The aftermarket started squeaking after 11,000 miles so I replaced it with this OEM part and it was an easy fix. I would also recommend that you replace the idler pulley and belt as the others won't lag far behind if one fails.
