Review on 🚘 Dorman 955-2297 Subaru Driver's Side Door Mirror: Ideal Fit for Select Subaru Models by Arun Berry

I really wanted to like this mirror assembly. It looked OEM and was very easy to install. The biggest problem I have with this mirror is the following fact. The mirror can be operated from the inside with the mirror adjustment button. It can move left and right, down and back to the starting point, but CANNOT DO HIGHER beyond that point. This means that if you're a tall person and need a decent view of the road to your left, you won't be able to do that because the mirror won't move up past the starting point. This makes the whole mirror unusable for taller people (I'm 6ft 1in tall). My only hope is to disassemble this node and switch motors from my OEM node, but that's a project I don't have time for right now. I think you get what you pay for.
