This was purchased as a birthday present for my 5 year old. I opened the box before giving to him to see if it needed put together and to my surprise it was only the handle that needed inserted in the scooter. This was super easy to do and it was assembled! Lights in wheels work automatically once they are moving so no batteries needed. Also impressed by the ends of the handles that are well padded so they shouldn’t break down after being dropped during play.
