Review on 📈 Efficiently Monitor Propane Tank Levels with AP Products 024-1001 Gas Level Indicator by Bob Berry

I have used one of these products on a Coleman tent trainer and one on an island grill and recently bought a third for a second tank to add to my trailer. All tanks weigh 20 pounds. The sensors were installed at the end of October. One thing I didn't see in the manual (but was confirmed by the manufacturer) is that you can connect each device to more than one phone or tablet. So I paired ours with my iPhone and iPad and my wife's iPhone so we can get readings no matter what phone or tablet we have. You just launch the app on a new handheld device and wait for it to start searching, then press the sync button on the sensor once. The names of each sensor are stored locally in the application, so you still have to name them manually. When I recently paired the sensors with our phones and tablets I needed to access them and both were wet from the recent rains. . Your work was not affected. For our trailer (which has two L-beams that support the open-bottomed tanker on the road), I added a galvanized sheet metal underneath the tanker. The AP Products sensor attaches to the bottom of the tank with a strong magnet (and has little rubber feet to support the tank), but I didn't want to risk knocking the sensor off while riding. I was just checking the levels with my iPhone and I can see the grill on the island from our stucco home through a wall and the island's stucco frame (about 30 feet away). The signal strength was about 16%. I couldn't see the trailer indicator which is at least 50 feet above the same wall and behind an 8 foot high cinder block wall, but when I got about 10 feet closer from my office I also got a trailer indicator (only 2% signal strength). Note that both sensors are actually surrounded by metal - the crate for the grill tank and the support frame and galvanized floor for the trailer - so the sensors are actually slightly shielded and still provide readings at low signal levels. Both devices show about 80% battery level after about 70 days of use. So I expect to work somewhere less than a year.
