Review on 🔧 OEMTOOLS 27200 Coil Spring Compressor: Easily Compress Coil Springs on All Passenger Trucks & Autos, Fits Most Strut Springs & Coil Springs by Sean Franklin

Finally a coil spring compression tool that fits my application. It took one to compress the coil and reinstall the springs back on my 00 Blazer 2-Door 2WD and the others I borrowed didn't work but they compressed a lot and I had to remove the spring again to retrieve the tool. This one also got stuck, but the end unscrewed completely, knocking it out and falling off the spool. I concluded that the threaded portion on the tool was too long and as others have said they ended up cutting off some of that length. I just brought it closer to the mount and left it that way. If it doesn't work out next time, I'll probably trim it down a bit and rethread so the end can come loose and rethread the tool if needed.
