I recently bought a micro stereo with an EU/UK plug. The stereo doesn't have a built in voltage switch so I had to find a way to get it to work. in business. All I had to do was move the pin on the back of the transformer to match our 110v power supply, then plug the transformer into an outlet and turn it on. After that, all that remained was to connect the stereo to the 220V socket on the front of the transformer and turn on the stereo. Great.** And yes, the Transformer *stinks* right out of the box. Ouch! But the smell goes away quickly!
