Review on πŸ”§ Hi-Lift Jack PP-300 Post Popper: Efficient Tool for Hassle-Free Post Removal by Alexander Craner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Who knew you would need something like this?

The contractor built a small paddock on our property and then abandoned it without removing it. We bought this thing to remove fence posts. Bing Bang Boom! We used this post popper to remove them all in no time. We scheduled an hour to clean the pen, but it only took half an hour. bam! It works great! [Edit: I used this tool with a vise and chain to remove the five copper ground rods. The bars were driven four feet into the ground. I thought it would be impossible to remove them. NO! The trick is to first clamp the rods in a vise and twist them a few turns in the ground. Then you can start pulling them up. Slowly, methodically. You went out! It took strength and courage, but they got out! All five went out in one day under the scorching sun! So this thing paid for itself twice over!] The only downsides are that it's quite heavy, has some sharp edges and corners that can draw blood if you're not careful, and it has a terrible pinch point that's the size of your finger has if you careless. The last thing we miss is the lack of a strap or clip to keep it folded. Something like this will make movement and storage much easier. For this purpose I will make my own strap. but after this one-time use, I'm not sure I'll ever need it again. lol. However, it's one of those multiple tools that you should probably have at home, especially if you're in a rural or suburban area. [Edit: This has become my new favorite brute force tool!]
