This is a really good set. For my Dockers leather belt I only needed 3mm x 7mm. I put the belt on the acacia pole. I then put an old belt on top of it, which serves as a template. I carefully and firmly inserted the stamp into the existing hole. Then I hit my fist about 3 times. Those were decent punches. Then I took the belt off and checked underneath. If the punch hadn't gone through. I hit a few more times. The punch worked great. The punch is strong, sharp and easy to use. It cuts the exact same holes as the factory belt. Also, it has a good cleaning slot. I sincerely recommend this product.
