We suddenly have low blood pressure throughout the house. The pressure was always normal. I decided to take the filter out and found that the inner casing of the filter had been ripped out and was in the cold water line leading into the house. With needle nose pliers I was able to grab the edge and pull it out of the waterline. I put it back in the photo filter. If it went all the way down the pipe I'd have hundreds of dollars in plumbing bills. Again, buyers beware. It's not worth saving a few bucks over the price of a home center for an OEM filter. You get what you pay for.
