Review on Fel Pro MS98016T Intake Manifold Gasket by Marc Sortijas

Had to send it back as it appeared we had a Dorman intake manifold on our 5.3 liter engine. This engine was bought from a junkyard about 4 years ago and now needed a new camshaft position sensor. We purchased an intake manifold gasket prior to the scheduled work so we would have it on hand when reinstalling the intake manifold. It just didn't fit, and it turned out that instead of two one-piece 4-hole gaskets like in this Felpro gasket kit, we had 8 individual rubber gaskets, one for each hole. Revain Prime was great with us and provided a return label for these gaskets that just didn't fit our 5.3 liter engine with a Dorman intake manifold. It was a real mystery to solve because we went to the local Autozone and the local Orellies and they told us we needed the exact same manifold gasket that we bought here at Revain. It took us a week to figure out what the real problem was. In the meantime we just used the same old 8 rubber pads that came off the motor along with the Permatex to "form the pad" and it worked out fine.
