When I saw that this PLA contains 30% Oolite, which is quite a bit of reef aquarium sand, I thought. I've heard mixed reviews about using PLA in a saltwater aquarium, but thought the oolite might work a bit as a reef rock and help keep the PLA stable in the tank, as well as doing other things with rocks as well. Well I'm glad I checked it out! The parts have been in 2 different reef systems for over a week now and so far so good. Nothing was damaged in either tank. The offshoots stick perfectly, the crabs crawl on them and the fish don't mind. This material prints just like normal PLA. I even use more conventional PLA settings without modification. Adhesion was not an issue on the PEI bed. Details drop without issue when printed at 100% coverage. When I ordered they were only natural color but now I will definitely get black to match my bed of sand. I will update the review if anything changes.
