Excellent Blue PLA for 3D Printing

Based on my observations, the Nant-3D Filament in Blue has a great texture and produces detailed prints with ease. The color is vibrant and the filament is easy to work with, making it perfect for hobby projects. However, it may not be suitable for industrial or commercial use due to its slightly lower strength compared to other filaments.

Pros
  • High-strength and durability due to 30% additives
Cons
  • May have a higher cost compared to regular PLA filaments

I like this material most in additive manufacturing products

I liked the color and thought it would be good for printing fossil copies for my paleontologist husband. I made a mounting gasket (door stop) and it was beautiful. It looks and feels like ceramic. Obviously, with proper alignment and settings, it's really difficult to see the print layers. The photos are taken directly from the printer. It feels a bit rougher than regular PLA and after using it I skipped to a cleaner thread to be on the safe side. would buy more.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Long Delivery

Ideal for 3D printing reef aquariums!

When I saw that this PLA contains 30% Oolite, which is quite a bit of reef aquarium sand, I thought. I've heard mixed reviews about using PLA in a saltwater aquarium, but thought the oolite might work a bit as a reef rock and help keep the PLA stable in the tank, as well as doing other things with rocks as well. Well I'm glad I checked it out! The parts have been in 2 different reef systems for over a week now and so far so good. Nothing was damaged in either tank. The offshoots stick…
