I have been buying these from US Art Supply for a while and when my last supply was running low I bought a pack of 40. But due to manufacturers' constant desire to do more with less, they made the grip thinner. It used to be a decent size and fit my fingers well, but now it's like drawing with a pencil. Unfortunately I didn't open it before the warranty expired, so I can't return it. I could throw them away and buy adult brushes elsewhere. In addition, part of the foam has deteriorated. The size seems to be the same, but it's a very soft foam that doesn't stay tight when brushed. And if that's not enough. This foam is brittle, so if you run the brush over something rough like your butt, small pieces of foam will come loose. In the best case, you notice it immediately, wonder what kind of stains your polyurethane has and wipe them away. Worst case scenario, you won't notice it until it's dried, so you'll have to sand it down now and start over, or convince yourself that this will add some character to your piece. Update: The foam is now thinner. Also. Completely useless now.
