Worked perfectly connected to my 2 year old Dell 5300 2in1 i5 connected to an older Dell D3000 3 monitor dock. The Dell D3100's ethernet connection slowed at times and Wi-Fi was stable most of the time, but sometimes affected my home conference calls due to the USB3 connection. Connectivity improved my problems with teleconferencing. Plugged it into the USBC port and automatically configured it and I ran Dell Update and picked up the updated drives. I've seen a slight improvement using Cat 6 cables in my gigabit internet.
