I installed this on a BMW 330i. I used to only buy original pulleys for my cars. This time I chose a Dayco pulley as I could get it quickly to complete the repair. The pulley was in a Dayco box with a part number and the inscription "Made in Germany". However, there was no such marking on the pulley itself (or on the bearing): neither the country of origin, nor the name of the manufacturer, nor the part number. In the past, all the pulleys I bought were labeled with the manufacturer's specifications. This left me with little faith in the provenance of the part. When I contacted Dayco (multiple times by phone and email) to inquire about their labels, I received no response. I plan on using an OEM replacement once this pulley wears out.
