Use on Kohler M18

Suitable for replacing a 30 year old Gravely 16G with a Kohler M18S. It cranks the engine and gently engages the flywheel when power is applied. It's just a tad larger than the original, but I only had to press a little harder to slide it through the case and it wasn't a problem. I particularly like how the shaft and spring are covered, which will likely help keep them lubricated and free of obstructions. I'll update this review if the starter fails, but so far so good!
