Review on INNAMOTO Skateboard Helmet Multi Sports Skateboarding by Gary Haymon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality for the price but doesn't sit low enough on the head

I bought this helmet as an accessory and this is the third helmet I've bought for roller skating. Overall, the quality of the materials exceeded my expectations given the price. It's double certified and the color I chose (grey) has a cool matte finish. The fitment was visually identical to a famous (and twice the price) helmet brand I own. The straps were easy to adjust and there was an extra set of sweat pads. Also, this helmet had a fine adjustment dial on the back, as well as a chin strap and storage pouch which my other helmet didn't have. However, I am giving the helmet one star for one important factor - the fit. I have a small head and found my sizes right on the border between S and M. I used to like it smaller so I went for S and I still had room to score less for a good fit so I guess that it was the right size selection. However, the helmet looked and felt like it was too high on my head, leaving plenty of room over my ears when viewed from the side, and sitting 3/8" higher on my forehead than my other helmet. It just seemed that the helmet's bowl was too flat.Regardless, I rode the helmet for over an hour a day in 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the functionality and comfort of the straps were on par with my more expensive helmet. If not for the odd landing would have been I would have given five stars.
