Review on Electric scooter Ninebot Kickscooter ES2, up to 100 kg, dark gray by Micha ochowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

The scooter works in conjunction with the application. In theory, it needs 1 time to activate. It's not very good, it doesn't draw maps. But it shows the mileage and has an analogue of the social. networks - you see how many others have traveled. Backlight, cruise and limiter are configurable through the app. The speed is comfortable 19-21 km / h, higher does not make sense. Three modes (up to 15, up to 21, up to 25) are switched from the steering wheel. It brakes quickly and the electronic brake is always enough. In an emergency, you can jump off it and stop it with your feet - which cannot be imagined with a bicycle, or with a multi-wheel, or with a gyro scooter. You can ride it like a regular scooter. And you can also set the recovery mode in the application (it will be slow and hard to drive, but charge itself). I think it will be relevant for long descents - it will extend the run. I like the legal status of a scooter - it's fast like a bicycle and it's easy to navigate the bike paths and unloaded streets (on the roadway) in the center. But this is not a bicycle, which means that you don’t need to follow any traffic rules - I drove uphill on the opposite side of the road and calmly crossed pedestrian crossings.

Pros
  • Very well thought out design and ergonomics Comfortable Three speed modes There is an application Powerful, drags uphill For 9.3 km, the battery sat down by only 35% Backlight with a bunch of modes of operation
Cons
  • More like quibbles: - the application is not very, not buggy, but simple - there is no holder for the phone and if you buy it in addition, then there is not enough space for it, it will interfere - there are no branded accessories at all, what are there - roads, for example, a bag for the steering wheel can be bought from 1500 to 3800 - and it is not clear whether it will fit - they are talking about unreliability here (rear hub, steering play, rattling) - now this is not there, but if it appears, there will be no problems with repairs - people already print bushings on a 3D printer - a little big to just throw it in the trunk, you need to carefully place it, also big for travel - it won’t fit into a suitcase (and yes, it can’t be transported with a battery, even if it fits), it’s heavy for hand luggage. Perhaps, for adequate money, they will be able to load it on a plane, but it’s definitely not easy to put it in luggage. - it is not clear how to charge from a car - charging from a car is not yet available at all, and since a 36V battery will definitely need an inverter
