The timing kit is the basis for a much more comprehensive timing inspection and overhaul.
The kit is well made, but the stock sprockets and upper chain guide are better designed. The installation video was easy except for the hardest part, getting the timing marks on the sprockets to line up properly. The video should contain more information about camshaft alignment, TDC, ideal chain tension, crankshaft rotation, gaskets, harmonic balancers/damper, water pump, oil pump, spark plugs, gear and balancer assembly/tightening techniques and tricks etc. because they are all the necessary elements to achieve the perfect sync update setup.
