Bought and found that others noticed the wavy distortion. I ordered another one to see if the other is better. They were largely the same. I realized that I might not have fully installed it. I cleaned the bracket on the side of the car and put a light coat of lube on the bracket where the clips on the end of the mirror connect. I chose the flat one from the two mirrors I had and put it in place. I used a folded rag to press on the center of the mirror and it snapped into place more easily than without the lube. I continued to work with the mirror and got a few more clicks. Now the mirror is almost flat. It's not ideal, but acceptable. Factory mirror glass is $200. It's $25. I do not mind.
