I ordered this tire to replace the rear tire on my Electra. I've put about 2,000 miles on these tires and a couple of weeks ago, in heavy fog and a slightly slippery road, my bike started to lose grip on corners. As an older biker, I decided I couldn't risk riding that worn tire anymore. I looked at all the tires and settled on this growler tire and wow what a difference. My original tires were 25 x 2, which is 25 x 2,175. and the difference is imperceptible when you look at it but once i got on my bike the difference is just amazing. Not only do I feel more confident, I feel like I have more tread on the road, but the bike feels lighter but also safer. I even feel like my speed has increased. My second bike doesn't need a tire change but I will upgrade to this growler next January. Very happy and satisfied with this product1
