I can't tell you about the taste but

My sick child loves it. This is their only food. She eats about 3 packets a day because she has lost her sense of smell due to pneumonia and sinus infection and refuses to eat anything. Hydra Care is whatever she is eating right now. My guess is that if that's all she's eating to stay hydrated and get her protein into her system, she can eat whatever she wants (and the vet agrees).
