I used it to seal all of my outlets and all of the light switches in my house. Before using this product I sometimes heard a whistle, not anymore. Using about 1/3 the tube per square foot I have eliminated air getting in and out of the house and am saving money on heating and heating bills every day. This product is not a silicone sealant. Instead, it's a refractory material that you can use in your electrical connections. I've also found that if you need to remove it, it's just how a screwdriver works where it breaks and you remove the pieces.
