I bought this for AC work and it's great. I bought another one a few years ago and use it in my laundry room to count quarters (5.67 grams each). After a few years, the old one became unstable when empty, fluctuating between zero and 10 grams. It's still more than accurate for AC operation, but if I'm counting coins, it should be correct. I called TIF and they don't service them under warranty so I bought another one. This is a quality device but I still hate buying something made in China.
