
So you'll be working around glass to begin with, which means you have to be VERY VERY CAREFUL! Make sure you're using the right tools! You should probably familiarize yourself with how your drill works before attempting anything like this. Make sure you DO NOT use the hammer feature, if available. Also, make sure to work slowly and DO NOT apply too much pressure! Make sure you have the right type and size of drill bit (I found the 9/64 cobalt bit worked best for me) and let the drill and bit do most of the cutting work. Once you've drilled the holes, I prefer to hand tighten the screws with a screwdriver rather than a screwdriver. Make the screws nice and tidy but DO NOT over tighten them. If you follow these instructions you should be spot on and the product should work as intended. Much luck!
