You'll probably run out of endpoints

Depending on what devices you connect to this thing, you might run out of USB 3.1 endpoints. Most devices work well as long as they're not overly complex, while others don't. I couldn't use my HOTAS accelerator at all because I ran out of USB endpoints and it was randomly flipping switches while trying to play a game, but the same manufacturer's flight stick works fine. USB 3 has a more limited number of simultaneous devices that can be plugged into a single controller, so you might end up hitting the wall like having to juggle wires to physical ports.
