I'm a door technician and welder, this product has many useful uses but it doesn't work very well in real life. You'd like to think that you'll get faster if you don't have to change the size of the jack, but unfortunately with this little device, nuts and bolts get stuck in the pins as you tighten or loosen them. This also constantly pulls the socket out of the 3'8" adapter. The speed you save by not switching sockets far outweighs the disadvantages of this socket. If you plan to use this tool commercially I wouldn't use it at all Pens are flimsy and cheap, don't last well.
