Easier to use than the originals
I bought these because I lost a set of the original rubber straps that came with my Thule bike carrier. I quickly found that these bands are thinner, more elastic and much easier to work with than the original bands. They might not last as long as the originals in the long run (who knows?), but they seem sturdy and tough enough for long-term use, so the likelihood of them wearing out faster is more than offset by their simplicity. use.
