I installed this camera and it is fairly easy to install but the mount is limited in the angle you mount it and secure it securely be able. It has slots for inserting mounting screws after you adjust the angle of the camera. But when I turn it as far as I need, the screw holes don't line up. I had to raise it higher than I want to attach with the last few screws. As far as his performance from a seated position goes, he paints a good picture. I'll post how it performs on the road later after the trip to Florida. To update. On the road it worked fine, but at night the nearest headlights were badly washed out. It was very helpful between backup and transfer on the go. (I permanently tied it to work) As of spring 2020, water leaks and fogs up. I dried it and it seems to be reusable.
