Mounted on the rear of an Old Town Otter Plus that did not have a drain. I got a kayak as a second place so my friends didn't have to rent/borrow it to go on a trip with me and it was a very basic kayak (but cheap and sturdy). Added above just before foam emerges from behind; mixes very well and easily. It doesn't drain all the water but that's because I set it high because of the foam bags. I solved the water problem by using some car wash sponges under the seat to soak up what little was left. The bottom line is that it is a plastic drain. It seals well (I also used seawater sealant), is easy to open/close and has a low price. I like the included plug so you don't lose it.
