Good quality, somewhat deceptive.

Good quality drain plug but dimensions given are a bit misleading. The inner diameter of the drain is 3/4 inch, the outer diameter is just over 1 inch. I used a step drill to cut the hole. I'm not sure if a 1 inch hole saw would be big enough.

Pros
  • Molded black ABS with threaded reservoir
Cons
  • So-so

Perfect and great for the price.

I bought this for my Pelican Trailblazer 100 after I lost the rubber plug that came with it. I had to modify the plug to fit the countersunk port and also had to remove the drain hole expand on the kayak but with some silicone it fits, looks and drains well.I like that the connector stays attached so it can't get lost.

Pros
  • 1pc 3/4" plug
Cons
  • Drill Pack

Works as it should. Best in Oil

I am very happy with this drain. I put two in a kayak and was pleased with the result. I used a 7/8 spatula when installing used and it was tight but worked fine.I also used some silicone to make the gasket waterproof as my surface was slightly domed so I didn't use the gasket that came with it.Kayak Be careful of the ones protruding into the kayak Mounting screws, they are sharp and can easily puncture, tear or otherwise damage anything that comes in contact with them.

Pros
  • 3 1/4" diameter
Cons
  • cord shorter than others

Good product and easy to install

My Hobie Revolution kayak had a hull drain plug, and it was all the way back and near the tip. I wanted the drain plug to be on the bottom so the water can drain out as long as it's the right way up. This item was easy to install and includes a strong gasket, but I also added some silicone to ensure a good seal. My only issue with this item is that it sticks out more profile from the kayak than I would have liked and I wish there was more profile in the kayak but it works well either way. I'm…

Pros
  • Stainless steel
Cons
  • Faulty

Safe drain in gaskets

Mounted on the rear of an Old Town Otter Plus that did not have a drain. I got a kayak as a second place so my friends didn't have to rent/borrow it to go on a trip with me and it was a very basic kayak (but cheap and sturdy). Added above just before foam emerges from behind; mixes very well and easily. It doesn't drain all the water but that's because I set it high because of the foam bags. I solved the water problem by using some car wash sponges under the seat to soak up what little was…

Pros
  • Four holes for 6 fasteners
Cons
  • Very expensive
