Terrible. came broken in half. It was packaged in a very thin, unlined envelope and torn in half. This is a beautiful hook but I won't be ordering it again because it doesn't appear strong. I also ordered a Brittany 6.5mm hook from another supplier which arrived safe and sound as it was properly packaged. Something to consider. I'm not sure if I can crochet the whole thing. Odd shaped neck, doesn't want to get caught on yarn (and even hold on to yarn). I had no problem with the rough parts of the hook (all the wood was smooth and polished) and I like the length of the hook, but the grip proved a challenge. decorative grooves and protrusions are rough on the palm, they are even uncomfortable to hold. Also, it doesn't feel like a strong hook. I can't help but wonder if it will break while crocheting. Too bad. that's a very nice hook.
