I wanted to wait to write this review so I waited a year to give an accurate review. The first picture on the right is for the set when I first received it. The two pictures on the left show a pan after 1 year of continuous use. I use this kit everyday for baking, steaming, roasting, deep frying, rice cooking, etc. for pretty much everything. They are durable; However, I have never put them on a strong fire. I usually cook over medium-low heat. My stove is electric. I also put them in the oven at 420 F and roasted them a few times. So far no problems have occurred. As for cleaning, I don't wash them in the dishwasher. I hand wash them with regular dish soap and a soft sponge. A change is visible: the bottom began to darken from the stove and burns. You really aren't liable. I highly recommend them.
