Although the product description says it fits the Dremel Multi Max, it doesn't fit my MM40. The triangular part vibrated much more strongly towards the tool tip, so much that it bounced off the grout and onto the tile, damaging it. After attempting to apply a second grout line the tool fell off my Multi Max. I reattached the tool and it quickly fell off my Multi Max again. So I am returning both carbide tools to the seller. IMO you are better off paying a few bucks more for a real Dremel carbide tool. Update: 1/918. The supplier contacted me and apologized that the tool didn't fit my Dremel. I appreciated it. He said to keep the instrument but I have already sent it back as there is no point in leaving an instrument that cannot be used. He will update his entry to indicate that he is not using the Dremel MultiMax MM40. I upped it to 2 stars because it was still a waste of time and they should know better than to advertise that it works with a specific model when unsure. It's not good business to get your customers to do trial and error to see if it works. Find out in time.
