This watch is a must-have for any serious endurance athlete. I am new to ultrarunners and have found that most GPS watches are not designed for this type of runner. Many GPS watches work great for around 6-8 hours before accuracy and battery life begin to decline. After reading Runner's World reviews of this watch and talking to friends who have it, I decided to buy it. First of all, they are designed exclusively for sports. This is not a smart watch. There's no touchscreen and you can't answer texts or make calls from the watch. That's a plus for me. There is no music storage either. This is a multisport endurance watch. The watch itself is built to last. All parts are very durable and look great on the wrist. The battery life is ridiculous. I ran 62 miles before even charging it once and I wore it straight away! GPS and running metrics were my main selling points for this watch and it's perfect. After a few training sessions you will get VO2 max, LT HR and LT Pace. If you need even better analysis, buy a POD and you'll get all the data you need. My favorite feature of the app is Fitness Level, which shows how stable your fitness is as an endurance athlete. This is combined with your training to give you an idea if you are training too hard, not enough or just right. The watch has built-in AI that also shows you the time it takes to fully recover from your workout. Obviously this watch was created by athletes for athletes. Highly recommended!
