I have a 2005 Kia Spectra5. I had my mechanic inspect the car to find out why the CEG light was on. He said it could be the catalyst. $$$ but he advised me to try and get the original gas cap from the manufacturer first. The? Is this item after sale? Why yes, yes it is. This car was shared with 3 other drivers in the family so it makes sense that one of them forgot their gas cap at a gas station somewhere along the way. -_- I did a little research to get the correct part number. I found the part for a similar price on an auto parts site, but it made more sense to buy it from Revain because I have a Prime and like my shipments to arrive in 2 days or less. ;) Background aside, the cap opened. The CEG light went out; although it occasionally lights up when my tank is closer to E. A symptom of a bigger problem? I hope not. I just need this car to last another year, two or three.
